Christian Believer

"Knowing God with Heart and Mind"
Integrates Bible study with the study of the basic beliefs (doctrine) of the Christian faith.
Topics include Scripture, the Nature of God, Grace, Salvation, the Nature of Jesus Christ, Faith, and Judgment.
Commitment:  A 30-week study with daily preparation and a weekly two and one-half hours group session structured like Disciple Bible Study.

Disciple Bible Study

Prepare for and attend 34 weeks of Disciple Bible Study -- usually begins in September with the following courses:
DISCIPLE I:  "Becoming disciples through Bible Study" --  moves through the biblical story from Genesis to Revelation.
DISCIPLE II:  "Into the Word, into the World" -- study of Genesis - Exodus and Luke - Acts.
DISCIPLE III: "Remember Who you Are" -- focuses on the prophets and the writings of Paul.
DISCIPLE IV: "Under the Tree of Life" - study The Writings, John and The Revelation
DISCIPLE for Youth:  Similar to Disciple I for adults, with a bit less reading and shorter class time.
Other covenant groups are offered throughout the year.
Commitment:  Class time of two and one-half hours per week plus study assignments.

Wonderful Wednesdaysww.gif (17998 bytes)

A time of coming together in small groups--not for another night at church, but to consolidate a number of activities for various age groups on the same night.
Supper at 5:45 pm, various classes beginning at 6:30 pm.
Some activities will last a certain number of weeks and other activities will take their places as time passes.
Hosts needed to welcome members and friends for supper each Wednesday at 5:45 pm.
 
Summer 2004
We will join together for a meal and fun twice this summer - please join us!
Meals will begin at 5:45pm in Fellowship Hall.

July 28   'South of the Border'

Volunteers Needed:

Study Group/Special Workshop

Lead a study group or workshop as part of our church's educational program.  You will have an opportunity to select topics.
Commitment:  May vary to fit your schedule.

Teach Sunday School

Teach or substitute teach in Sunday School Class or prepare to lead discussion in a shared teaching arrangement.
Commitment:  One hour each Sunday plus preparation time.
