Noah's Ark

Chapel Cross

(Dedicated May 23, 1999)

The wall sculpture combines a simple cross with a white dove in flight.  The dove has a white cloth in its beak and is captured in an upward flying motion.  The cross is constructed of walnut, with the cloth and dove carved from white pine and stained white.  The walnut cross is 60 inches tall and 37 inches wide.

Cross from Mexico

This colorful, hand-carved cross was presented to the Methodist Temple by Michael Cox, a resident of Mexico.  He is relocating his family to Evansville with the help of church members and this is his way of expressing his gratitude.
