The Good Samaritan

(Luke 10:25-37)

The lawyer listens to Jesus after asking, "Who is my neighbor?"

A traveler is shown being robbed and beaten by two robbers and being left half dead.

Both a priest and a Levite see him and look the other way while passing by on the other side.

Then the Good Samaritan has compassion on the beaten man and is shown ministering to him.

At the bottom is the Samaritan's donkey on which they will ride to an inn and the jars containing wine and oil which the Samaritan pours on the wounds of the beaten man.

[Jesus asks the lawyer, "Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?"

The lawyer replies, "The one who had mercy on him."

Jesus says, "Go and do likewise."] NIV Bible
